The pan is thicker than the opposite electric skillets I've had in the past. It is removable and dishwasher protected, however it's so easy to scrub that I have yet to put it in the dishwasher.
The frame/legs of this skillet appear very sturdy.

It cook dinners evenly,heats up quick, extremely straightforward to scrub.
Washes up with a squirt of cleaning soap and a plastic scrubby-no want for the dishwasher.
I would presumably not need my stove prime anymore.
